The best snorkeling spots are Mango Bay (north of Koh Tao, vibrant coral and tropical fish), Shark Bay (chance to see baby blacktip reef sharks), Aow Leuk on the east coast, and the channel between the three islets of Koh Nang Yuan (one of the most photographed spots in Thailand). Our day tour visits two or three of these spots depending on weather and currents.
